You've got to love the un-biased media!

Headlines On This Date 4 Years Ago:
"Republicans spending $42 million on inauguration while troops Die in unarmored Humvees"

"Bush extravagance exceeds any reason during tough economic times"

"Fat cats get their $42 million inauguration party, Ordinary Americans get the shaft"

Headlines Today:
"Historic Obama Inauguration will cost only $120 million"

"Obama Spends $120 million on inauguration; America Needs A Big Party"

"Everyman Obama shows America how to celebrate"

"Citibank executives contribute $8 million to Obama Inauguration"

Nothing like fair & unbiased coverage of the news !!!

and here is the Urban Legend take on the same thing. (Thanks Laura)

The concept still holds true, even if the figures are not completely accurate. Long live our king!

Funny how none of those headlines came up in an extensive google news search. I'm not saying they are fictitious for sure, but I can't find any evidence for any of these headlines outside of the spam that's all over the internet.

I'm not even saying that you couldn't make a convincing argument for media bias, but it seems like it should be based on actual headlines and facts that can be substantiated, not on an email chain. At least that's how the biased liberal media would go about it.

Thus I also posted the URL with the Urban Legends...

I'm not supporting the urban legend e-mail... but the blatant media biased that made it believable.

Thanks for your comments Alan, funny last line!
