Emma Dog...

After over two months of fighting off an unknown infection... multiple visits to the Vet... four rounds of IV anti-biotic... and multiple tests... Emma passed away this morning a little before 7:00am.
The family stayed up with her all through the night to give her comfort, support, and love in her time of need. We'll remember Emma as the "so ugly she's cute" little dog everyone loved. The family will really miss having her in our lives. Hearing the little 'jingle' from her collar tags as she moved around the house. Having her excited 'dance' as you returned home after a long day away. She will be missed!

It was a long night that I wish never to repeat. Your great for taking time to do a little eulogy for Emma before your sunday flight. Love you.

I'm sorry to hear about your dog. I know how much you guys loved her. Every time I think of her I think about you telling us the rules when you first brought her home. No sleeping in the bed, etc and then she eventually ended up there. Kinda crazy what we do for the things we love.

Mom, told me the news this evening on my way to work. I'm sorry for your loss. I called home and told the CMs of your loss. I'm sure Caitlin, the animal/dog lover cried a tear for Emma, as did I.

Thanks Keith for your posts. Glad you were able to do the garage floor. It looks great. Thanks for the BBQ sauce, we'll enjoy it. So sorry about Emma. She was a good pet, friend and family member. Thanks for taking the time to post about her. We missed you at dinner. Hope your work is going well and you are doing fine.

Thank you for your post about Emma. I'm glad I got a chance to meet her and give her loves. Our thoughts are with you in your time of grief. I know how hard it is to lose a beloved pet who is like a member of the family. Marsha & Deb

Thanks for taking time to post about Emma. It brings tears to my eyes, as well. I am so sorry that she got sick and passed away. I know you all miss her. Everytime I think of it tears well in my eyes. I remember when I had to take Tiffy to get euthanized. It wasn't fun and I cried for three days thinking about it.

I remember the time when you guys first got Emma. She was SO small and "ugly cute" as you said. We were very sorry to hear of her passing. She will be missed by many, including us.
